Board Nomination Notice
Volunteers...the Core of the Credit Union Philosophy
Volunteers are the backbone of Partner Colorado Credit Union. The Board of Directors is responsible for setting the direction of the Credit Union. The duties include: safeguarding members' deposits; establishing and reviewing policies; responding to members' financial needs; and ensuring the Credit Union's continued strength, growth and integrity.
The Nominating Committee interviewed four interested, qualified individuals and the Board approved their recommendation. Nominations closed February 28, 2017. All nominees are listed below for the membership to view through March 31, 2017.
Ms. Head has been a member of the Credit Union's Supervisory Committee for the past eleven years. She is a life-long Denver resident and former USPS employee from the finance and budget departments of the Denver Regional office, retiring after 36 years. To date, she has found her experience as a Supervisory Committee member not only helped prepare her to become a Board member, but has shown her how much she enjoys volunteering and would like to participate in the governance of the credit union.
Mr. Bollig is a long-term credit union member and has been a volunteer on the Credit Union's Supervisory Committee for the past ten years. He is a Colorado native, former USPS employee, and holds a BS of Accounting and MBA in Finance. In 43 years of employment, he has nearly 35 years of financial experience, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, data analysis and income taxes, all of which will contribute to creating policy for the credit union as a board member.
A member since 1965, Mr. Lujan has volunteered for the Credit Union since 1998. Initially serving for 5 years as a member of the Supervisory Committee, he has since then been a Board Member and was selected as Chairman of the Board the past two years. In addition to his 38 year career with USPS, Al also owns his own accounting and income tax preparation business, including financial consulting and insurance agent. He is a Colorado native, former Marine and holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Mr. Fassett started with the USPS as a letter carrier and retired 34 years later as the Boulder Postmaster. A Credit Union member since 1961, Clark started volunteering in 2001 and served on the Board for 14 years, 11 of which as a Board Chairman. Currently, he is Vice Chair. Mr. Fassett is a Master Tax Preparer, a second career he has pursued for the past 25 years. As life-long Coloradan and avid golfer, Mr. Fassett has also been actively involved in volunteering in other local organizations.
